Where I'm from, Everyone's a Hero.

where I'm from, Everyone's a Hero.
I was really inspired with this graphic made by Mark Gosingtian.

The worst of crises, of disasters, always brings out the best in People.

During the height of Typhoon "Ondoy" (Ketsana), we've heard of many reports of heroism. Many people took in neighbors, relatives and friends, as well as friends of those neighbors, relatives and friends. Others acted immediately for relief operations. There were also countless reports of people giving up their own lives just to save others. I was really "moved" by these acts of good deeds.

"Ondoy" resurrected the spirit of "Bayanihan". Ondoy took care of moving many houses and it's contents, but people have stepped in to help each other reconstruct not just homes but people's shattered dreams and lives.

GOD BLESS THE FILIPINO PEOPLE!
Kaya natin toh!

  4. this is very nice... Undeniably, everyone is not a hero... but this is a challenge to Filipinos, most especially those who remain apathetic, that there is a heroic spirit inside everyone of us... and unless we move, this spirit will not come out from us.

    ex link?

  7. I'm just glad that despite everything, there's still something that we can share to at least lighten a burden.

  8. That graphic is awesome! ^^ Nakakatuwa na ang mga Pilipino, kahit sa daming hirap na pinagdaanan, andoon pa rin ang pagiging bayani. Hopefully we will be able to cope with this, like we always have and be a reminder to us that everything starts with our own self. We have to change.
